Darker times don't have to be sad times. How to fall in love with Fall Season?
In Northern Europe fall is quite beautiful but can bring up a lot of emotions. We even have less sun and somehow that can make us more sad. It doesn't mean we have to stay like this forever. There are still new things to discover and perhaps trying new things can bring up more happiness in your dark days. So grab your notebook and your favorite drink and let's start living.
1. Set an Intention for this season
Writing down a sentence or a small quote can help you to choose things you will be doing this season. Sometimes finding quotes in pinterest or creating boards is also a good idea. Our inspirations in Pinterest: Click Here!
2. Write Down what you are grateful of this Season.
Maybe you are going somewhere or planning something and it is something to be grateful of. Perhaps small things throughout this summer you finished, worth writing down. Ideally you would practice daily your gratitude but can be practiced weekly also choice is yours. Counting your blessings can bring your mind more often to positives. It is like reminders practicing daily. 3-5 Daily is totally fine.
Examples:
“I am grateful I cleaned my windows this month.”
“I am grateful I finally started to create jam.”
“I am grateful I started to journal this season to be more mindful”
3. Write down things you would like to experience.
It is good to see all the good things in one paper. Maybe you would like to experience something you didn't have time for last year.
Examples:
“I would like to carve my first pumpkin this season”
“I want to craft some decoration for my room first time”
“I want to create a board in Pinterest for inspiration for my clothing styles”
“I want to make cacao with marshmallows”
“I would like to go on seasonal festival”
4. Clean up your place.
Perhaps all that summer clutter has been all over your room. I like to sometimes just give my clothes away, throw out old makeup and clean whatever I don't clean often. Feels really fresh to cleanse your space. More space for new energy.
5. Decorating your space.
Once fall leaves fall it is good to plan some decorations to your room. Few simple ideas could be just painting a rock, putting up colorful leaves or craft something from Pinterest. Once the leaves fall it is a good idea to go for a little walk to collect some colorful leaves. Adds more vibe to your room. Decorations can be also reconstructing your space or adding a new winter plant. Great plants for home can be snake plant, Chinese evergreen, Aloe Vera or simple cactus. There are many others but these should be more comfortable to start with.

In the end what mostly counts is your well being. Take care of yourself and take your time to change to another season. Seasons don't have to define that we are sad. We can show with our actions that even these darker times can make us more at peace.
